September 17th is recognized in the United States as Constitution & Citizenship Day to commemorate the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787.
In recognition of Constitution & Citizenship Day 2020, the Robert Nusbaum Center offers a series of video vignettes that feature Virginia Wesleyan University students. The vignettes draw attention to major anniversaries of milestone decisions in the United States’ ongoing struggle for civil rights, and remind citizens to remain ever vigilant in efforts to protect and preserve Constitutional rights and freedoms.
