Bernie Sanders to Visit Virginia Wesleyan University
Presidential candidate to speak on Saturday, February 29, in Batten Student Center

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is headed to Virginia Wesleyan University. The Vermont senator will visit campus on Saturday, February 29, to speak to voters in the final days ahead of the March 3 primary.
The event will take place at 8 p.m. in the Convocation Hall of the Jane P. Batten Student Center. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and entrance will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is free and open to the public; tickets are not required, but an RSVP is encouraged.
Sen. Sanders' visit comes on the heels of his victory in the Nevada caucus, and follows recent polling showing him tied for the lead in the commonwealth. While in Virginia, the senator will also make stops in Richmond and Leesburg.
