Dr. Charmaine Wilson, PMP, is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in business, technology, and academia. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, a Master's degree in Project Management, a Master's Certificate in Accounting, and a Doctorate in Information Systems Management. With a strong foundation in both finance and technology, Dr. Wilson has built a career that bridges the gap between business operations and IT solutions.
Dr. Wilson began her professional journey in the Accounting field, where she gained valuable experience in Financial Management and reporting. However, her career took a pivotal turn when she transitioned into the Information Technology (IT) sector as a Senior Business Systems Analyst. In this role, she served as a key liaison between business units and IT teams, managing projects that drive efforts to improve operational efficiency through the implementation and upgrading of software systems. She was instrumental in ensuring that technology solutions aligned with business goals and that stakeholders across departments remained informed and engaged throughout the process.
In addition to her work in industry, Dr. Wilson has been dedicated to education since 2013. She has taught a wide range of courses in Business Administration, including Accounting, Leadership and Organizational Behavior, Finance, Economics, and Project Management. Her academic work reflects her passion for shaping the next generation of leaders and professionals, and she is known for her ability to integrate real-world experience into her teaching.Â
