Visit Virginia Wesleyan during Virginia Private College Week

Prospective students receive application fee waivers July 23 - 28

News Release | July 16, 2018

The Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia (CICV) hosts Virginia Private College Week July 23 – 28. Prospective students and their families are invited to visit the campuses of 24 private colleges, including Virginia Wesleyan University, and receive three application fee waivers while learning about the quality and affordability of private higher education. During the week, colleges will offer campus tours and information sessions about admissions, financial aid and academic programs.

“Visiting campuses in person is one of the most important steps in the college search process,” explains Robert Lambeth, president of CICV. “I encourage parents to explore which college will be the best fit for their son or daughter, and I want to reassure them that a quality education at a Virginia private college is affordable and within reach.”

Virginia Wesleyan University will host a morning session at 9 a.m. and an afternoon session at 2 p.m. Monday-Friday (July 23-27). On Saturday, July 28, there will be a morning session only at 9 a.m.  Register for a visit on the VWU website.
