Kainaat (Kai) Trehan

Kai is an international student from New Delhi India and is majoring in International Studies and Political Science with a minor in Psychology. She is also pursuing a certificate in International Organizations and Diplomacy. Kai’s campus involvement includes Theatre, organizing campus events, the Ethics Bowl and the Model UN team, in addition to serving as an Office Assistant to the Dean of the Batten Honors College.

Julliette Coffey

Julliette Coffey is an international student from Suffolk, England, and a member of VWU’s Women’s Golf Team. She has gained many valuable experiences so far during her time in the Batten Honors College. Julliette is eager to continue building relationships and making memories during the rest of her time at Virginia Wesleyan.

Alen Curovic

Alen Curovic is an international student from Gothenburg, Sweden. He is double majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science and is a valuable member of VWU’s Men’s Tennis Team. Alen is grateful for the BHC to push him outside of his comfort zone and provide him with connections for life.

Aidan Foley

Aidan Foley is a Music Education major from Northport, New York. He is an active member of the Wesleyan community, often seen hosting Shack-a-thons and supporting the Black Student Union. After graduation, he plans to be a high school music teacher.

Stephanie Clark is a Virginia native with majors in International Studies and Hispanic Studies. She is involved in many of the Arts at VWU in addition to being highly involved in the Young Democrats Club and Model United Nations. Stephanie is also a student ambassador she looks forward to continuing to make connections around campus and the world during her semester abroad.

Jessica is from Bordentown, New Jersey and is a Sustainability Management and Environmental Science Dual Degree student. She is an embodiment of the Batten Honors College pillar of environmental stewardship: Jessica serves as the Vice President of the Marlins Go Green club and has worked to successfully plan a Climate Symposium as an intern with Dr. Malcolm and the Gunn Group.

Casey is from Williamsburg, Virginia and is majoring in Chemistry with minors in Psychology and Biology (pre-med). He is an active member of Marlin Ministries, Sigma Nu Fraternity, and Ethics Bowl, in addition to playing on the Men’s Golf team. Being so involved with the campus community and the Batten Honors College has equipped Casey with valuable time management skills.

Eddie McDonald

Eddie grew up in Kailua, Hawaii, but graduated from Grassfield High School in Chesapeake, Virginia. He is studying environmental policy, as a double major in Sustainability Management and Political Science. Eddie serves as Student Government Association President at VWU, and has enjoyed being able to generate an impact on the campus community through the many initiatives he has led.

Melina is from Seekonk, Massachusetts and studies Business with a certificate in Supply Chain Management. Her fondest memory as a member of the Batten Honors College is studying abroad in Murcia, Spain at the Universidad de Murcia. This experience enabled her to gain a broader world view and establish a sense of what it means to be a global citizen.

As a volunteer at Bon Secure Hospice Health Care, EB has gained valuable knowledge about connecting with people in her community.
