Virginia Wesleyan, Franklin Johnston Group Break Ground on Coastal 61 at Oxford Village
Virginia Wesleyan University and The Franklin Johnston Group broke ground June 18 on Coastal 61 at Oxford Village-a new eight-building, 248 luxury-apartment community located on the north side of campus on Wesleyan Drive.
Expected to open in 2020, the community will include one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans, a state-of-the-art fitness center, resort-style swimming pool with sundeck, and a rooftop sky park. Each apartment will feature an open floor plan, fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, custom crown moldings and trim, spa-inspired bathrooms, over-sized walk-in closets, and private patios and balconies.More

Hanna Hull of the Virginia Wesleyan University softball team has been named Fastpitch News' Pitcher of the Year for the 2019 season. This is her second year in a row earning this honor as well as her second time making it on FPN's First Team All-America list. More
Spring 2019 Dean's List and President's List
Congratulations to the 84 Marlins named to the President's List and the 226 Marlins named to the Dean's List! The President's List recognizes full-time students who earned a 4.0 grade point average for the semester. The Dean's List recognizes undergraduate students who achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or above.
