Assistant Professor of Computer Science
VIRGINIA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY (www.vwu.edu) invites applications for the tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Computer Science, with broad expertise in cybersecurity or data analytics. A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a closely related discipline is required at the time of appointment. The position begins in fall 2020.
The University seeks a candidate with a strong commitment to teaching, cross-disciplinary collaboration, student advising, and research. Teaching responsibilities will include introductory programming courses, development of face to face and online courses in cybersecurity or data analytics, as well as support for the General Education program.
