The Office of Marketing & Communications supports the mission of the University by leading and promoting Virginia Wesleyan's marketing and branding initiatives, utilizing a variety of platforms to distinguish the University in the higher education marketplace and effectively communicate the VWU story to key constituencies, including prospective and current students, alumni, donors and friends, faculty and staff, the broader public and the media.
Here's how we do it:
CREATE and effectively communicate messages and imagery that reflect the University's mission, vision, strategic priorities, and core values in a compelling and consistent way.
COORDINATE and manage the University's primary communication channels and media opportunities.
COLLABORATE with VWU offices and individuals, offering creative services and support for the University's marketing and communications goals.
All design projects relating to the University such as brochures, posters, photographs, web content, and advertisements, intended for an external audience (general public, prospective students, media etc.) should be created through or approved by the Marketing and Communication Office before publication or distribution. Design projects meant for prominent display or frequent usage within the campus community should also be approved. See the Approval Policy for more information.
